Gabe ran into Venado and Cabrera. At the time, I don't think his handlers thought those guys were as dangerous as they turned out to be. As I recall he was dropped and battered pretty good on both those fights.
Gabe doesn't have enough pop in his punches to keep the guys at the higher...

Good article. I like Ibeh but I feel like it's the third article on Kingsley I've seen on NSB in recent weeks. While not as annoying, it reminds me of the random Wallin articles that would pop up on here reminding us that he's looking for a big fight....

Needed Nyika to last one more round for me to nail the pick'em prediction. Oh well....

He can fight so long as the opponent doesn't use lateral movement or boxing skills......MulaKO likes this.

Nyika isn't wrong to think this and be mentally prepared for this. Both guys have heavy hands and I think both will be looking to spark the other out. Regardless however long it goes, I expect it be violent (and possibly one-sided)....

I didn't like how Regis' legs looked in the fight with Catterall. A few times there looked like boiled spaghetti after getting touched. Duarte is a bit crude but he's fresher than Prograis who, in addition to the Bambi legs, seemed incapable of pulling the trigger when he saw openings in his last few...

It's about the level of competition one should expect after the beat down he suffered at the hands of Bakole. Hopefully he learns to be a bit more defensively responsible before he gets back in with the big hitters of the division....

I definitely won't be watching that one live on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Probably gonna be watched on delay with my coffee....MulaKO likes this.

Not a whole lot of offerings this week so I look forward to that Opetaia card.
The early part of January is always like this. Back in 2022 on New Year's Day, I remember I gladly purchased that all-HW PPV headlined by Ortiz and Martin. I think it was $30-40 or so and there were some entertaining...

Amazon Prime is a great platform but I don't think they were planning to significantly back the fights from a financial perspective (venue, purses, etc) for PBC. From what I understand, it was primarily going to be a PPV platform for PBC stars with the occasional free card.

I like Ibeh. He's a good athlete who came into the boxing game late (I think he was and still is an insurance agent). Despite learning on the job, he's given a very good account of himself.
I'd like to see him get some more opportunities, he deserved to get the win against Vianello. Wouldn't...

I'm not sure what the plan is. The Amazon deal wasn't going to be any kind of game changer because Amazon didn't seem like they were providing anything more than a platform. Revenue was going to be generated off of PPV and that isn't what it used to be.
ESPN seems one foot out the door....

Saw Sadjo fight on DAZN and realized his opponent was none other than Diego Chaves. I remember the Argentinian brawler when he was undefeated and giving Thurman some good rounds, he was DQ'd against Rios (I seem to recall Jack Reis over-officiating in that one) and had a draw against Tim Bradley. Since...

Devin has worked with Conte for close to a decade (met through Shawn Porter) and has endorsed SNAC products.
As for Conte and VADA, there have been allegations that he helped form the non-profit and in a May 2024 USA Today article, Conte told USA Today that "he provided consultation...

My thought is that he beats Charlo, Fundora and Murtazaliev. Wouldn't mind any of those fights....Curtis2 likes this.

Scull vs Canelo in Spring?
Saw various articles indicating there are some preliminary talks for the IBF strap. Interesting....

Remember watching Ruben on his rise up through the ranks. Very skilled boxer but little to know power to speak of. Had some decent wins (I think he beat Venado if memory serves me right). His problem was his lack of power at certain levels required home to fight perfect fights to win. He outboxed Navarrete...edpboxing STREET CLEANER like this.
